A mint green georgette saree custom made with a colorful mirrorwork border- I had this saree stitched by a vendor in the busy streets of Kolhapur. Georgette is a great lightweight crepe fabric perfect for a casual event.

This saree is super light and easy to drape and very low maintenance. This is a great outfit for a wedding, especially outdoor daytime weddings.

I wore this saree for my best friend’s mehendi ceremony in Jaipur and paired it with oxidized silver neck-piece, bangles and earrings.

The mirror embroidery is a specialty of Rajasthan, India so the saree and blouse are perfect for a wedding in Jaipur. Incorporating the mirrorwork border in the saree, brings the whole look together.

This is one of my favorites as it is a traditional take on a contemporary look and the bright colors make it a perfect summer outfit.
